Most inspiring my friend. Last Monday, a small group of pubescent medical students and surgical resident were introduced to your work. I was trying to illustrate the inseparable association between vision and skills and how this could help them become better surgeons. So in the middle of our conference, reviewing banal angiograms I brought your web page on the big screen, and I mean big 8 x 5 feet. They did not get it… I should have tattooed an eastern promised on my ass.
Alexandre- this might be the best compliment I have ever received. It has turned a generally shitty day into a good one. I might use this as an entry…wether they got it or not matters little, only experience and skill will teach them that lesson.. You must be a good teacher, I have never heard of a surgeon teaching interns with references outside of medecine…
Glad I helped make your day a better one. Medical sciences are too uni-dimentional, references outside the field is a must to understand the complexity of what we do.
